Jude Isbell helped rescue his Eastlake Titans in more ways than one in a close 21-14 victory over the #1 ranked Helix Highlanders last Friday night.  The senior running back rushed for 127 yards on just 15 carries, including a 67 yard TD run to give the Titans a 14-0 lead.  His biggest play however, came in the closing minutes of the game.  Helix was moving in on the game-tying touchdown, when Isbell came out of nowhere to lay a bone-jarring hit on wide receiver Kendall Keys, dislodging the ball, causing an incomplete pass and securing the Titans 7 point victory over the Highlanders.  With the victory, Eastlake (1-0) became the new #1 ranked team in San Diego County.
